Teach your self about Body Support System

When you are consider body support system is perhaps the best piece of equipment that a body worker or therapist can ever have in their practice. This incredibly versatile system was originally designed for chiropractic practice and is now widely used by many practitioners in the United States and throughout Europe

And the unique design of the body support system allows for the pelvic, thoracic and cranial structures of the body to be gently supported enabling the muscles of the body and the internal organs to find a state of ease and at the same time create a neutral position for the spine. When the body is in this state of ease with less pressure and torsion within structures it is more responsive to treatment or therapy and the response is more likely to be long term.

When using a conventional massage table or couch, even one with a face cradle it is obvious that the body is not comfortable on a flat surface. Even the best quality tables and couches with the deepest foam do not allow the body to be supported in a neutral state. The pressure on the pelvic structure transfers to the sacrum and lumbar spine, placing stress on the core musculature of the body. This in turn compresses internal organs and impedes function and blood flow which is the compounded by pressure on the thorax creating more restriction. When a body is in this stressed and compressed condition how can it respond to any kind of treatment? If there is a response how much deeper and longer lasting do you think it would be if the body was in a state of ease. When you think about it is really is a no brainer so why do so many practitioners and therapists still work on a flat surface?

It is true that some techniques and adjustments require a flat surface, if you are using a body cushion it is light easy to move and store so moving it is not a problem. Most clients that come for therapy and treatment have pain and or trauma stored deep within their core structure. How can you hope to help them if you are not able to get the body into a state of ease to release the cause of their suffering.

Body support system enables the therapist to work with the body in both prone and supine positions and with adjustments can be used for side position and for treating at a desk. There is a caddy pack of wedges to provide support and adjustment variations and armrests that can be easily removed. This versatile package can even be adjusted to cater for all trimesters of pregnancy providing support and often relief for expectant mothers.

Therapists and practitioners that have a body cushion body support system wonder how they ever worked without one. It really does make that much difference.

Massage advantages for your feet

Posted by YNFirwall 4:11 AM, under ,,,, | 1 comment

Many of people don`t know about foot massage and about advantage of care about massage. Your feet are in charge of taking you into different places, anywhere you want to. This is why your feet are among the parts of your body that need to be taken care of properly and should be treated with utmost importance. Remember that your feet are among the most essential parts of your body that should never be taken for granted. This is considering the fact that you will be able to accomplish most of your daily tasks without using them. Thus, you must consider the things that you should and should not do to your feet.

As mentioned above, it is just right that you take care of your feet properly and here are some foot care tips that you just might want to take into consideration. Even for just once a year, you can have your feet checked by a professional. This is to make sure that there are no problems with your feet.

Every once in a while, you also need to check if your feet have cracks and sores. If there are, you have to do something to treat them. Trimming your toenails is another part of properly taking care of your feet which can make you look tidier. Instead of washing your feet with hot water, you should use warm water and then dry them well.

And you should pay more attention to the areas between the toes because these are known to be the sensitive areas and are prone to infections. Then, always use comfortable footwear and never walk without wearing anything because you may hurt yourself. And of course, you should regularly exercise your feet to maintain proper blood circulation.

Aside from these foot care tips, another idea that you can consider when it comes to taking care of your feet properly is getting a foot massage. Foot massage, like any other types of massage, has several benefits to offer.

Reflexology is one of the most popular massage techniques that are really intended for the feet. In this particular technique, different points of your feet will be applied a certain amount of pressure that corresponds to a certain point of your entire body. But of course, there are some things that you have to take note of before getting a foot massage. For instance, if you are pregnant, you must not get a foot massage because it can be bad for your child.

The same idea applies when you are suffering from a heart disease or hypertension. And lastly, after drinking any alcohol drink, right after eating and bathing, you should not get a foot massage. It is best if your wait for about a couple of hours before getting a massage to avoid any problems.

So if you want to take care of your feet, you should take note of the things that were mentioned above.

Eat healthy and take care of body win better life

Posted by YNFirwall 9:39 PM, under ,,,,, | No comments

Many of people look to food as a something take to feed body to move in life without the kind of food or if it healthy or not and some people when you taking about food healthy or kinds consider that as luxury in life who say that most of healthy food not expensive if you take it from nature.
There are many reasons why we should eat healthy, however, we are going to focus on 3 benefits, 3 attractive reasons, for us to get serious about healthy eating. To be healthy we know we should eat healthy and we are aware there are a number of benefits to eating healthy. Nonetheless, most of us really struggle to say no to the sweet, fatty, salty, processed tasty foods on offer. Far too many of these foods make up a considerable part of our diet. When this is coupled with the fact that we are less active now that in previous years, it is easy to see why we are facing serious health issues in western nations. So let us look at those three benefits.

The 3 exciting benefits of eating healthy are 1) weight loss, 2) less disease and illness, 3) clearer skin. Now I know from personal experience that reasons like these have helped me to commit to eating healthy. We will briefly look at each benefit in turn starting with weight loss. Eating healthy foods can result weight loss and weight management. Trading the sweet, fatty, salty and overly processed foods for healthier more natural food has this great perk. Contrary to what many people think you are likely to eat more as your body burns up your food more quickly. Plus, a number of healthy foods speed up your metabolism.

And in another reason to put the lovely slice of cake down and grab a juicy apple, is healthier eating lessens disease and illness. Your body has the nutrients and vitamins it needs to effectively fight colds, flu and other viruses. It can reduce the likelihood of diseases like diabetes, particularly type 2 which is linked to being overweight. You can lower the risk of high blood pressure, stroke, some cancers and heart disease. These are leading causes of death in many advanced nations and changes to what we eat could help to alter that.

Lastly, a fantastic reason to exchange the excessive and binge alcohol drinking or sugary fizzy drink for water is a healthy diet can help us to be more beautiful. Toxins are flushed out, nutrients provided and digestion aided when our diet become healthier. Skin reflects this becoming clearer, smoother, brighter, less spot and blemish prone. I don't know about you but I'm reaching for the water already.

The challenge that many of us face in our bid to eat healthily is knowing what to eat and what not to eat. Some think they are eating healthy but do not see the benefits I am mentioning. So what can be done? There are many fads out there and so much information that it can become very confusing. My advice is seek a balanced eating plan or advice. Some foods posed as healthy are not good for you so will not help. It is wise to eat all food groups and any diets that totally restricts certain groups is not balanced. Eat foods that are more natural and less processed. You will probably need to search for good information but like L'Oreal says 'you're worth it'. You are worth the time and investment it may take to get the right information so you can see the results you want and deserve. Being slimmer, less prone to illness and disease and having great skin are the benefits of eating healthy that most of us really care about.

Health tips abound in the area of exercising and building muscle. What to eat, what to drink, what supplements to
add to the regimen. Here is a story of health secrets regarding how to build strong, healthy muscles. It concerns .when you should eat protein to maximize its effect.
And when people exercise on a regular basis, their muscles experience a continuous cycle of muscle breakdown
(during exercise) as well as remodeling and growth (especially with weightlifting). Athletes have long experimented with ways to enhance muscle growth. One trend of late is using high-protein beverages during and after exercise. Many studies show possible benefits with them.Of specific interest is the effect of the essential amino acid "leucine" contained in these products. Two papers hone in on this in the latest "American Journal of Clinical Nutrition."

It is reasonable to think that eating foods with high-quality protein (e.g. milk) during and/or immediately following exercise would help muscles get stronger. Muscles need to be both encouraged and nourished on the path to growth.
In the first study, researchers investigated whether, after exercise, taking one large dose of whey protein (25 g) was better or worse than taking smaller doses (2.5 g) 10 times over an extended period. The idea with the small "protein shots" was to mimic how another milk protein -- "casein" -- is digested.

One study had people use a leg-extension machine and see which was best. The other had people use a stationary
bicycle. In both, they evaluated how protein was synthesized after exercise. The result was this: consuming a
large amount of protein immediately after exercise boosted muscle protein synthesis more than periodic smaller doses.

Concerning the substance leucine, one study found that muscle protein built up 33% more after the higher-leucine
beverage. Thus, the conclusion was that you can manipulate your muscle growth post-exercise by choosing what to eat. In
particular, leucine may play an especially important role in stimulating muscle growth when your workout is done.

Strength training reversal Of aging and Decline in performance

Do you know that making training give you good health you want to know how read this :

It's well known that resistance exercises improve muscle strength and function in young and old alike, but the new research suggests that strength training also affects older muscles on the level of gene expression - essentially turning back the clock on muscle aging.

The study, published in the online journal PLoS One, looked at whether strength training affects the "gene expression profile" in older adults' muscle. Genes hold the instructions from which the body manufactures proteins; gene expression refers to the processes that translate these instructions into proteins.

Analyzing small samples of muscle tissue from a group of healthy young and older adults, researchers found that older and younger muscle tissues differed significantly in their gene expression profiles. The difference indicated that older muscle tissue had impaired functioning in mitochondria -- structures within cells that act as the cell's "powerhouse."

That impairment was reversible, however. After 14 of the older adults underwent 6 months of strength training, the gene expression profile in their muscles showed a more youthful appearance.

"In a very real sense, the muscle was younger," said lead study author Dr. Simon Melov of the Buck Institute for Age Research in Novato, California.

Experts have long known that exercise is good for younger and older adults alike, Melov told Reuters Health, but the new findings suggest that it can "actually rejuvenate muscle" in older individuals.

The study included 25 healthy men and women older than 65, and 26 healthy adults ages 20 to 35 who had diet and exercise habits similar to the older group. By analyzing muscle tissue from each volunteer, Melov's team found age-related differences in the expression of hundreds of genes - such that mitochondrial function in older adults appeared "dramatically impaired."

Fourteen of the older adults then went through a strength training program, working out two days a week for 6 months.

As expected, the researchers found that these volunteers boosted their muscle strength, coming closer to their younger counterparts' performance. But their muscle also showed a turnaround in gene expression that Melov described as surprisingly stark.

He said more studies are needed to see whether aerobic exercise, like walking or cycling, has similar effects on muscle - and whether exercise might reverse molecular aging in other types of body tissue.

For now, the researchers say, their findings show that it's never too late to start exercising. Here

Training in home

In  this exercise is very powerful, even though it is just a simple abdominal exercise. When I say "simple" I mean that it doesn't take a genius to know how to perform it since the movements are so simplistic.
But, just because the concept is easy to understand, doesn't mean that you won't have a tough time getting through every single rep.
I have done this exercise ever since I can remember, and I still have a tough time not giving up half-way through the workout.
The key to remember with this workout is to push through every single rep. and not take a break no matter how bad you might want to.
In and Outs are very powerful if you perform them properly and lean back as far as you can without losing your balance.
This exercise is designed to be combined with other powerful exercises that target your upper abdominals.
What you are doing in this exercise is basically using your butt as a pivot point for your body, because you kick your legs out as your on your pivot point. It can be very difficult at times, depending on the amount of energy you have.
What you want to remember is to keep your legs up off the floor at ALL times, and use as much of your abdominal power as you can without the help of you pulling in your upper body (torso) in toward your legs.
Remember you're bringing in your legs with the power of your abdominals, you're not bringing your upper body toward your legs.
So, while all this is happening, you want to lower your upper body slightly towards the floor.
This is a very difficult exercise at first, and putting your hands on the floor for support is not only recommended, but probably necessary, because by this time you are seriously tired.
Directions:

1. You're going to begin this exercise by sitting flat on your butt with your legs straight out in front of you.

2. Next you want to place both of your hands on the ground behind you. Now for the harder workout, keep your hands off the ground throughout the exercise.

3. Now you want to lift both of your legs off the ground while keeping your butt on the ground.

4. The next thing you do is use your abdominal strength to pull your legs into your chest as close as you possibly can.

5. Once you bring them in as close as possible, kick your legs back out in front of you while keeping them as straight as possible. Also, don't let them touch the ground at all.

6. The whole exercise you just repeat the process until you do 25 reps.

7. One rep counts as the combination of the pulling in and the straightening out so don't count each ONE rep as TWO. Thats Cheating.

Growth hormone in real life of bodybuilder

Growth hormone  was discovered in the 1920's and was isolated in the form of somatotropin in 1956. The benefits of HGH are immense, even today new research pops up regularly that reveals new uses for it. HGH is present in the body at a rate of 500 micrograms at any time in the blood of males between the ages of 20 and 30.

It's produced by the anterior pituitary gland under the stimulation of the Hypothalamus (like LH, the testosterone precursor). The effects on our system are tremendous:
HGH promotes and increases the synthesis of new protein tissues, such as in muscle recovery or repair. This is the way new muscle is built.
Recent research suggests its involvement in the metabolism of body-fat and its conversion to energy sources. Tests were conducted in obese people and medical use in treating obesity was proven beyond a doubt. Pro's have used GH as a way of maintaining and increasing lean mass while dieting for years.
It improves the sleeping pattern, makes for less unintended awakenings and betters REM-stage sleep.
HGH produces more energy
It may improve sexual performance
It builds stronger bones
Improves the quality and duration of heart and kidneys

So you can tell the benefits are not few. What's an even bigger card in the weighing of HGH against testosterone and its derivatives is that it is not androgenic, causes no aromatization and shows no side effects in limited doses. It just makes you bigger, huge even in combination with testosterone.

It is believed that we may benefit from doses up to 1 to 1.5 mg in the bloodstream. That is somewhere in the optimal range for natural GH.

Well that's the point everyone was hoping I'd get to. The ways to improving GH concentration is by utilizing the 4 areas of bodybuilding: Training, rest, nutrition and supplementation.
 Training:

The first way of stimulating GH release naturally is training. Working out, putting the body under extreme stress, I'm sure it's something none of you are unfamiliar with. Intense workouts, energy-consuming events and long periods of physical exhaustion are keys in releasing more Growth Hormone because these catabolic states require extra protein synthesis and in case of lack of energy, fat metabolization to make up for glycogen depletion.

This is no doubt the most potent kind of GH release as it's targeted to meet the demands of the bodybuilder. Of course I'm not telling you anything new when I'm saying you have to work out to gain muscle mass. I hope. Moreover the production of this GH is a direct reaction to a catabolic state that is not wishful to those looking for gains.

The only interesting I can tell you is this: I learned this in my first year of physiology. GH can be manipulated. The general rule of thumb when working out is never to train longer than 45 minutes because that's when GH tapers off and cortisol production sets in. But the half-life of HGH can be influenced.

If you train 40 minutes for a month and increase it by 2 minutes every month, after 10 months, you could train for an hour without inducing a catabolic state. No one has ever tested how far you can push the envelope, but is a proven fact. At this point I see no use for working out longer than an hour. Anyone using moderate to heavy intensity should be able to finish 25 sets in that time.

The highest I use at this time, being a competitor myself, is 22 sets for back. Since I'm still growing I assume that's enough. And since you have to match recovery to training intensity and vice versa, 25 or more sets would nescessitate at least 4500 to 5000 calories, maybe more. My stomach just isn't that big.
 Rest:

75 percent of your total daily HGH output is produced while sleeping, and most of that in REM sleep. This again stresses the need for a good night's sleep, in case that hadn't quite dawned on you. Though cat naps may further your case a bit, it's unlikely that you can induce a deep enough sleep to start producing GH.

This GH, in any case, is not near as potent as the other kinds because it is produced as a response to a need for sleep protection and a need for energy repletion for the next day, not so much in response to a need for EXTRA energy. But I think everyone understands that without this amount of GH other sources of GH will not be used as efficiently. Getting at least 8-10 hours of sleep is a sacrifice everyone should consider making if you want to get big in a hurry.

Also the regularity of your sleeping pattern could promote more REM cycles and result in more hormonal output. So keeping steady hours of rest is beneficial. If you are one to stay out late on weekends it may be best to still wake up at the same time instead of sleeping in. Otherwise you may disturb your sleeping pattern.

If you are used to sleeping from 10 to 8 and in the weekend you get home at 1, sleep until 8 and add a 1-hour nap every afternoon for the next 3-days to make up for the lack of sleep. But if at all possible maintain steady hours.
 Nutrition:

Most likely the most important section of the article, and that of the most interest to the natural bodybuilder looking to make the most of his GH. Naturally I have to ask you to take the past two paragraphs into regard before continuing here. You can't expect gains from nutrition or supplementation if your recovery is not adequately adapted.

The search for natural GH secretagogues (secrete and agogue (to teach), so literally to teach to secrete or induce the production of) begins with the most basic of nutrients. Yup you guessed it (or you read it in the previous article): amino acids. But for aminos to have a good effect you need to make sure that 15-20 percent of your diet consists of clean fats. These induce cholesterol, the storage of the base-hormone in the body that leads to the manufacture of most steroidogenic hormones.

The ultimate goal of this paragraph is to give you a complete stack, with amounts, of amino acids that can synergistically produce more GH, but any of them should further the case. I'll list them in order of importance (in this instance, this is not the importance of the amino in the diet).

The doses I'm about to give you are the best range for maximizing GH in a pre-workout stack. If you have anti-aging properties in mind, smaller doses will work as well.

Arginine (5-8 g) or arginine Pyroglutamate. I hinted at this in my last article, are prime movers in the production of natural GH.

Ornithine (4-7 g) works synergistically with arginine, from which it is derived. Together they have the best impact.

Glutamine (5 g) or Glutamine Peptides preserve the use of arginine in depleted circumstances.

Glycine (3-10 g)

OKG (3 g) is very expensive, but useful

BCAA's (3-6 g) for musclebuilding properties, enhanced by GH.

GABA and Lysine in trace amounts, but since they may inhibit the other amino's, it would be best to take these at different times.

Other dietary sources of GH promoting nutrients are Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Vitamin B3 and most anti-oxidants. Take your stack, which ever amino's it ends up consisting of, 45 minutes prior to your workout for maximal levels of Growth Hormone. On non-workout days, take your stack either before bed or in the morning, both on an empty stomach.

If you wish to learn more about specific amino acids in this stack, or others that may be of benefit to your training regimen, I refer you to the previous article about amino acids. This stack is more than adequate to boost HGH gains by 50 percent. If I hadn't convinced you of the use of protein to gain muscle, the potential amount of GH you get from maintaining protein levels should make you change your mind.

Whey protein especially, and dessicated liver are high in arginine levels. Gearing protein intake to specific goals could be a motivation to keep up the work on the nutritional end of things.
 Supplementation:

No I'm not telling you to inject GH. Until it becomes legal and then still under a doctor's supervision, I don't suggest you use it. GH supplementation has many benefits though. It increases the protein synthesizing effect of testosterone and causes growth in muscle tissue. Unlike most steroidogenic substances it is currently undetectable in drug tests.

What's more, in small doses it exerts no side effects. In large doses it may be very harmful however.

Too much natural GH causes a condition called acromegaly. A person's muscles grow, but so do his bones, his face, his intestines. Not funny, huh? Plus the muscle you gain on GH is not functional. GH causes no gains in strength. Larger muscles naturally increases strength a little, but without training of the tendons and attachments, no strength increase is noticeable.

The enlarged intestines are what cause the bloated guts on stage in Mr. Olympia contests. Only two substances cause this bloating: IGF-1 (insulin-like Growth factor 1) and HGH. Pros swear by the stuff. It's relatively new to the market as well. For a long time the only source of GH was from cadavers.

This held a great risk of infection with BSE (Kreutzfeld-Jakob disease) a debilitating disease that leads to death in weeks and is currently a hot topic because of recent cases in the European bovine stock as a result of processing animal waste in animal food. Now it's available as somatotropin, synthethized outside the body.

So why did I bring up supplementation if it's illegal? Well how do you suppose you make an illegal drug a legal supplement? In the States there is a law that says that you can sell certain substances over the counter if they are below a certain concentration. So GH is currently being sold as a supplement, though suspended in alcohol. It is supposed to be absorbed sublingually (under the tongue) or through the nasal glands (in the nose).

It's small enough to do this and yields high rates. It can't survive the digestive process and find a way into the blood through ingestion and the only other way is to inject it, which makes it illegal again. The law is the same one that allows ephedrine in fat-loss supps and pseudo-ephedrine in cold-medicine.

The GH we are talking about here is not very effective, nor very cheap, but it pays off as a recovery supplement. I tried it once taking a few drops sublingually after every workout. I didn't gain much extra muscle, none to speak of, but I found that my muscles recovered faster, noticed a decrease in lactic acid buildup and slept better overall.

So it has its merits. The downside: a pricetag of 70 or 80 bucks for a months worth. I wouldn't regard this last paragraph as key to your supplementation regimen and take the three paragraphs prior to it, if you learn anything, but for those who had questions about legal GH, I hereby answered them.

Glutamine is the one importante way in bodybuilding

In the first when we talk about Glutamine is one of many amino acids processed in greater amounts for building muscles, within our bodies. The nutrient plays an important for optimal health. In supplemental form, L-G powder is easily absorbed by ingestion, preferably with health shakes and drinks. When we undergo muscular stress in higher amounts the increasing need for L-Glutamine becomes greater, which results in an increasing demand for the body's ability to synthesize and produce enough of it, This occurs to promote proper cell breakdown. Lack of leisurely available Glutamine can result in mental fatigue, poorer moods, and exhaustion caused by dehydration.

Immunity guarding cells are dependant on L-Glutamine for energy requirements-not enough L-Glutamine can often result in a surely weakened immune system. Cells in our immune system depend on L-Glutamine to fuel metabolism which is always necessary for the best physical, mental, and emotional outputs. Even though adequate amounts of L-Glutamine are kept strong by the immune system, L-Glutamine levels are depleted by infection, during illness, Post-surgical recovery periods, and most types of injuries.

Supplemental Performance
Levels fluctuate consistently all the time. Glutamine can crash rapidly during highly stressful situations, for example, bodily stress during different athletic training types. This powder consumption is a great beneficial aid for maintaining needed levels securely. Athletes with sore muscles can benefit from L-Glutamine powder and recover from injuries faster. L-Glutamine assists with wounds and muscle healing and powder, the 500mg tablets, can significantly reduce risks associated with infections resulting from surgeries. Scientific tests done with L-Glutamine shows an incredible ability of the supplement to super boost growth hormone production.

Athletic Consumption
The mentioned growth hormone helps greatly in advancing and strengthening muscles while also decreasing tendencies for re-occurring injury. L-Glutamine powder can have the ability to bring growth hormone levels up to roughly 400 %. The natural processing of L-Glutamine decreases as we age, resulting in a loss of muscle and increased fat on the body. Consuming L-Glutamine powder can avoid this decrease of helpful levels of hormone, keeping them steady and stable. One of the most important benefits of L- Glutamine is the prevention of muscle loss and decreased risk of over training in athletic competitions and training.

Mental Benefits
Extreme concentrations of L-Glutamine are rested within the brain, intestinal cells and smoother muscle areas. L-Glutamine is crucial in the building of muscle, and for keeping their health and power. Also, Glutamine is the most dominant amino acid found in cerebral fluids. Several studies have indicated the benefits of L- Glutamine as regulating brain functions greater and at a steadier rate.

Digestion Relation
Possessing a healthy digestion system is one of L-Glutamine's major duties and purposeful assets. L-Glutamine powder can readily meet the high-energy requirements of the intestines and L-Glutamine powder plays an important role in these necessary functions.

Abundant amounts of L-glutamine are found in the body's cells and muscles. Concentrations of L-Glutamine are reserved in muscles and processed in the lungs. Within the body, L-Glutamine transmits important nitrogen to parts that need ask for them. L-Glutamine serves as a precursor to glycogen regiments, and L- Glutamine aids to keep energy levels even and efficient. Medical studies involving L-Glutamine report an improvement in the signal patterns from the brain occurring in people that used L-Glutamine powdered supplements.

Glutamine in Cancer Treatment
Research at major Cancer Centers indicated that many cancer patients have very low levels of L-Glutamine. The lack of L-Glutamine continued to place these patients at risk for depleted immunity function, which they are in dire need of. Researchers have stated that patients may benefit from Glutamine Powder 500mg supplement tablets, when advised by their doctor.

L-Glutamine is one of many additional allies working with conventional cancer treatment, and can often be utilized to combat harmful effects caused by radiation and prolonged chemotherapeutic methods. These powerful abilities brought forth with the use of L-Glutamine powder helps the malnourished cancer patient. Glutamine powder can basically be a vital aid when increasing resistance to illness and infections.

L-Glutamine and HIV Disease Treatment
Research on L-Glutamine indicated that individuals in the advanced stages of human immunodeficiency virus HIV) can benefit from the powder when combating dangerous periods of weight loss. Ongoing studies and research have shown that L-Glutamine, when coupled with several other vitamins and minerals like Vitamin C, Folic Acid, and Vitamin A can be quite beneficial in reducing weigh loss in AIDS patients.

L-Glutamine plays several critical roles in our bodies, and the research has proven that Glutamine powder is necessary for maintaining optimum health and total physical strength.

Diets and eating health food

Posted by YNFirwall 1:53 PM, under ,, | No comments

Good article made to perfect diet purpose: consuming proper can cure that which ails you. Eating proper is the most dependable means to ensure your physique gets what it needs to function properly. Eating proper is so necessary in actual fact, that right now there are particular diets which have been designed for adults, kids, the elderly, infants and even animals.
When most people hear the time period special diets, they instantly react by considering there is a must lose weight. Whereas it's true that many diets have been created for the only goal of serving to to shed weight, what many people don't notice is that lots of folks, whether or not overweight nor not, profit from being on some sort of diet.
With the way life is in the present day, it's difficult to search out time to eat right. Most of us seize our meals at the nearest take-out quick food restaurant and eat whereas traveling from one location to the next. Many others skip meals entirely. Sitting down to eat in eating places is no higher with serving sizes double and even triple what they should be. Even worse is that so many restaurant foods, particularly those that taste so good, are loaded with saturated fat that harm the physique in ways most individuals don't realize.
Special diets, particularly those which might be nutritionally-balanced which means that they assist individuals meet the beneficial every day allowances of vitamins and minerals as determined by the government, accomplish way more than weight loss. Special diets help to decrease cholesterol and blood stress, extremely dangerous conditions that considerably increase the dangers of creating heart disease and so they help struggle towards many types of cancer.
Eating foods which can be excessive in fiber help scale back gastrointestinal problems. Diabetics want special diets to keep up proper blood-sugar ranges, something that's literally a matter of life or death. Vegetarians, individuals with lactose and other intolerances, youngsters who have bother concentrating, and even individuals with sure non secular beliefs all profit in a technique or another from particular diets.

And the advantage of being a dietary fiber not digested in the digestive system and thus increase the size of the block out and keep out the natural habits.

No dietary fiber in foods of plant origin only, namely:

1 Grains: fortified breakfast cereals high fiber food, as well as products containing large amounts of dietary fiber.
Two legumes (cooked): beans, lentils, beans, and all foods prepared from them.
3 vegetables: corn, peas, cabbage, zucchini.
Four fruits: strawberries, figs, berries, apricot, apple is peeled, tangerines, plums (Prunus), recalling that of the plum and prune juice effect effective to raise and organize the work of the intestine, so care must be taken to take it daily amount determined by the dietitian.

To increase the taking of dietary fiber make sure to follow the following instructions:
One enrolled in the timing of eating your meals.
2, eating plenty of fluids (8-10 glasses a day).
3 Eat plenty of fresh vegetables with the failure to remove its skin and shortcut methods of preparation by exposing them to the least possible temperature for the shortest time possible.
4 Eat plenty of fresh fruits and dried with care not to remove the skin.
5 eating bread and breakfast cereals, pasta made from whole grains (without removing the skin and is sifted) as well as eating rice (live) brown.
6 enrolled in the taking of legumes such as beans, white beans, chickpeas and lentils.
March 7 Exercise regularly.

Note: do not lose in addressing dietary fiber and committed to the quantities specified by you to a dietician, Over-eating dietary fiber may lead to diarrhea and reduces the absorption of minerals available in food.

Thyroid gland and its importance in terms of secretion of the fitness

Posted by YNFirwall 4:33 PM, under ,,, | 1 comment

Your thyroid gland secretes two hormones that are going to be of primary importance in understanding Thyroid/GH interaction. The first is thyroxine (T4) and the second is triiodothyronine (T3). T3 is frequently considered the physiologically active hormone, and consequently the one on which most athletes and bodybuilders focus their energies on. T4, on the other hand, is converted in peripheral tissue into T3 by the enzymes in the deiodinase group, of which there are three types- the three iodothyronine deiodinase either catalyze the initiation (D1, D2) or termination (D3) of thyroid hormone effects. The majority of the body's T3 (about 80%) comes from this conversion via the first two types of deiodinase, while conversion to an inactive state is accomplished by the third type.

It's important to note that not all of the body's T4 is converted to T3, however- some remains unconverted. The secretion of T4 is under the control of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) which is produced by the pituitary gland. TSH secretion is in turn controlled through release of Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone which is produced in your hypothalamus. So, when T3 levels go up, TSH secretion is suppressed, due to the body's self regulatory system known as the "negative feedback loop" . This is also the mechanism whereby exogenous thyroid hormone suppresses natural thyroid hormone production. However, it should be noted that thyroid stimulating hormone (like all other hormones) can not work in a vacuum. TSH also requires the presence of Insulin or Insulin-like Growth Factor to stimulate thyroid function (1) When thyroid hormone is present without either insulin or IGF-1, it has no physiological effect (ibid).

Most people think that T3 is just a physiologically active hormone that regulates bodyfat setpoint and has some minor anabolic effects, but in actuality, in some cases of delayed growth in children, T3 is actually too low, while GH levels are normal, and this has a growth limiting effect on several tissues (2) This could be due to T3's ability to stimulate the proliferation of IGF-1 mRNA in many tissues (which would, of course, be anabolic), or it could be due to the synergistic effect T3 has on GH, specifically on regulation of the growth hormone gene. Although it is largely overlooked in the world of performance enhancement, regulation of the growth hormone response is predominantly determined by positive control of growth hormone gene transcription which is proportional to the concentration of thyroid hormone-receptor complexes, which are influenced by T3 levels. (3)

At this point, just to give you a better understanding of what's going on, I think it's prudent to also give a brief explanation of Growth Hormone (GH) as well.

Your body's GH is regulated by many internal factors, such as hormones and enzymes. hormones. A change in the level of your body's GH output begins in the hypothalamus with somatostatin (SS) and growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Somatostatin exerts its effect at the pituitary to decrease GH output, while GHRH acts at the pituitary to increase GH output. Together these hormones regulate the level of GH you have in your body. In many cases, GH deficiency presents with a low level of T3, and normal T4(4). This is of course because conversion of T4-T3 is partially dependant on GH (and to some degree GH stimulated IGF-1), and it's ability to stimulate that conversion process of T4 into T3.

Interestingly, the hypothalamus isn't the only place where SS is contained; the thyroid gland also contains Somatostatin-producing cells. This is of interest to us, because in the case of the thyroid, it's been noted that certain hormones which were previously thought only to govern GH secretion can also influence thyroid hormone output as well. SS can directly act to inhibit TSH secretion or it may act on the hypothalamus to inhibit TRH secretion. So when you add GH into your body from an outside source, you are triggering the body into releasing SS, because your body no longer needs to produce its own supply of GH...and unfortunately, the release of SS can also inhibit TSH, and therefore limit the amount of T4 your body produces.
But that's not the only interaction we see between the thyroid and Growth Hormone.

As we learned in high-school Biology class, the body likes to maintain homeostasis, or "normal" operating conditions. This is the body's version of the status quo, and it fights like hell to maintain the comfort of the status quo (much like moderators on most steroid discussion boards). What we see with thyroid/GH interplay is that physiological levels of circulating thyroid hormones are necessary to maintain normal pituitary GH secretion, due to their directly stimulatory actions. However, when serum concentrations of thyroid hormone increase above the normal range we see an increase in hypothalamic somatostatin action, which suppresses pituitary GH secretion and overrides any stimulatory effects that the thyroid hormone may have had on GH. The suppression of GH secretion by thyroid hormones is probably mediated at the hypothalamic level by a decrease in GHRH release(5).

In addition, as IGF-I production is increased in the hypothalamus after T3 administration and T3 may participate in IGF-1 mediated negative feedback of GH by triggering either increased somatostatin tone and/or decreased GHRH production (6). IGF, interestingly, has the ability to mediate some of T3's effects independent of GH, but not to the same degree GH can (7.) In fact, IGF-I production is increased in the hypothalamus after T3, administration it may plausibly participate in negative feedback by triggering either increased somatostatin tone and/or decreased GHRH production. So we know that GH lowers T4 (more about this in a sec), but an increase in T3 upregulates GH receptors (8) as well as IGF-1 receptors (9,10).

As can be previously stated, and due to the ability of GH to convert inactive T4 into active T3, GH administration in healthy athletes shows us an entirely predicatble increase in mean free T3 (fT3), and a decrease in mean free T4 (fT4) levels.(11)

Interaction between GH, IGF-I, T3, and GC. GH stimulates hepatic IGF-I secretion and local production of growth plate IGF-I, and exerts direct actions in the growth plate. Circulating T3 is derived from the thyroid gland and by enzymatic deiodination of T4 in liver and kidne.. The regulatory 5'-DI and 11ßHSD type 2 enzymes may also be expressed in chondrocytes to control local supplies of intracellular T3 and GC. Receptors for each hormone (GHR, IGF-IR, TR, GR) are expressed in growth plate chondrocytes.

So, with the use of GH, what we see is an increased conversion of T4-T3, and possible inhibition of Thyroid Releasing Hormone by Somatostatin, and therefore even though T3 levels may rise, there is no increase in T4 (logically, we see a decrease). Now, as we've seen, GH is HIGHLY synergistic with T3 in the body, and as a mater of fact, if you've been paying any attention up until this point, you'll note that the limiting factor on GH's ability to exert many of it's effects, is mediated by the amount of T3 in the body.

As noted before, T3 enhances many effects of GH by several mechanisms, including (but not limited to): increasing IGF-1 levels, IGF-1 mRNA levels, and finally by actually mediating the control of the growth hormone gene transcription process as seen below:

Comparison of the kinetics of L-T3-receptor binding abundance to changes in the rate of transcription of the GH gene.(3)

s you can see, T3 levels are directly correlative to GH gene transcription. The scientists who conducted the study which provided the graph above concluded that the amount of T3 present is a regulatory factor on how much GH gene transcription actually occurs. And gene transcription is what actually gives us the effects from GH. This last fact really seems to shed some light on why we need T3 levels to be supraphysiological if we're going to be using supraphysiological levels of GH, right? Otherwise, the GH we're using is going to be limited by the amount of T3 our body produces. However, since we're taking GH, and it is converting more T4 into T3, T4 levels are lowered substantially, and this is the problem with GH. and may actually be THE limiting factor on GH...if we assume that at least some of GH's effects are enhanced by thyroid hormone, and specifically T3, then what we are looking at is the GH that has been injected is being limited by a lack of T3. But that doesn't make sense, because if we use T3 + GH, we get a decrease in the anabolic effect of GH.

This is where Mr. Daemon, who had contacted me via an e-mail to my publisher, about Thyroid + GH interaction, was able to shed some light on things. You see, I knew that it couldn't just be the actual presence of enough T3 along with the GH that was limiting GH's anabolic effect, because, simply adding T3 to a GH cycle will reduce the anabolic effect of the GH (12.).

Originally, he had said to me that T3 was synergistic with GH, wheras I said that T3 actually reduced the anabolic effects of GH- now I realize we were both correct. Logically this presents a bit of a problem, which I believe can be solved. This came from reading several studies provided to me by Dr.Daemon. the trend I was seeing was that even when Growth Hormone therapy was used, T3 levels needed to be elevated in order to treat several conditions caused by a lack of natural growth hormone. And even if the patient was on GH, T3 levels still needed to be elevated. And what I noticed was that those levels were elevated successfully by using supplemental T4 but not T3.

Here's why I think this is:

Additional T3 is not all that's needed here. What's needed is the actual conversion process of T4-T3, and the deiodinase presence and activity that it involves. This is because Local 5'-deiodination of l-thyroxine (T4) to active the thyroid hormone 3,3',5-tri-iodothyronine (T3) is catalyzed by the two 5'-deiodinase enzymes (D1 and D2). These enzymes not only "create" T3 out of T4, but actually regulates various T(3)-dependent functions in many tissues including the anterior pituitary and liver. So when there is an excess of T3 in the body, but normal levels of T4, the body's thyroid axis sends a negative feedback signal., and produces less (D1 and D2) deiodinase, but more of the D3 type, which signals the cessation of the T4-T3 conversion process, and is inhibitory of many of the synergistic effects that T3 has! Remember, Type 3 iodothyronine deiodinase (D3) is the physiologic INACTIVATOR of thyroid hormones and their effects (13) and is well known to have independent interaction with growth factors (which is what GH and IGF-1 are).(14) This is because with adequate T4 and excess T3, (D1 and D2) deiodinase is no longer needed for conversion of T4 into T3, but levels of D3 deiodinase will be elevated. When there is less of the first two types of deidinase, it would seem that the T3 which has been converted to T4 can not exert it's protein sparing (anabolic effects), as those first two types are responsible for mediation of many of the effects T3 has on the body. This seems to be one of the ways deiodinase contributes to anabolism in the presence of other hormones.

All of this would explain why anecdotally we see bodybuilders who use T3 lose a lot of muscle if they aren't using anabolics along with it- they're not utilizing the enzyme that would regulate some of T3's ability to stimulate protein synthesis, while they are simultaneously signaling the body to produce an inhibitory enzyme (D3). And remember, for decades bodybuilders who were dieting for a contest have been convinced that you lose less muscle with T4 use, but that it's less effective for losing fat when compared with T3? Well, as we've seen, without something (GH in this case) to aid in the conversion process, it would clearly be less effective! Since the deiodinase enzyme is also located in the liver, and we see decreased hepatic nitrogen clearance with GH + T3, it would seem that the D3 enzyme is exerting it's inhibitory effects, but in the absence of the effects of the first two deiodinase enzymes, it remains unchecked and therefore not only limits the GH's nitrogen retention capability.

In other words, if we have enough to GH in our body aid in supraphysiological conversion of T4 into T3, but we already have the too much (exogenous) T3, the GH is not going to be converting any excess T4 into T3 after a certain point- which would be a limiting factor in GH's anabolic effects, when coupled with the act that we've allowed the D3 enzyme to inhibit the T3/GH synergy that is necessary.

As further evidence, when we look at certain types of cellular growth (the cartilage cell in this case) we see that GH induced rises in IGF-I stimulates proliferation, whereas T3 is responsible for hypertrophic differentiation. So it would seem that in some tissues, IGF-1 stimulates the synthesis of new cells, while T3 makes them larger. In this particular case, The fact that T4 and (D1) deiodinase is am active component in this system is noted by the authors. They clearly state (paraphrasing) that: "T4 is is converted to T3 by deiodinase (5'-DI type 1) in peripheral tissues...[furthermore]GH stimulates conversion of T4 to T3 , suggesting that some effects of GH may involve this pathway." The thing I want you to notice is that the authors of this paper state that the that the conversion PATHWAY is probably involved, and not the simple presence of T3. (15 )

Also, that same study notes that T3 has the ability to stimulates IGF-I and expression in tissues that whereas GH has no such effect (ibid).

So what are we doing when we add T3 to GH? We're effectively shutting down the conversion pathway that is responsible for some of GH's effects! And what would we be doing if we added in T4 instead of T3? You got it - we'd be enhancing the pathway by allowing the GH we're using to have more T4 to convert to T3, thus giving us more of an effect from the GH we're taking. Adding T4 into our GH cycles will actually allow more of the GH to be used effectively!

Remember, the thing that catalyzes the conversion process is the deiodinase enzyme. This is also why using low amounts of T3 would seem (again, anecdotally in bodybuilders) to be able to slightly increase protein synthesis and have an anabolic effect – they aren't using enough to tell the body to stop or slow down production of the deiodinase enzyme, and hence .Although this analogy isn't perfect, think of GH as a supercharger you have attached to your car...if you don't provide enough fuel for it to burn at it's increased output level, you aren't going to derive the full effects. Thyroid status also may influence IGF-I expression in tissues other than the liver. So what we have here is a problem. When we take GH, it lowers T3 levels...but we need T3 to keep our GH receptor levels optimally upregulated. In addition, it's suspected that many of GH's anabolic effects are engendered as a result of production of IGF-1, so keeping our IGF receptors upregulated by maintaining adequate levels of T3 seems prudent. But as we've just seen, supplementing T3 with our GH will abolish Growth Hormone's functional hepatic nitrogen clearance, possibly through the effect of reducing the bioavailability of insulin-like growth factor-I (12.)

So we want elevated T3 levels when we take GH, or we won't be getting ANYWHERE NEAR the full anabolic effect of our injectable GH without enough T3. And now we know that not only do we need the additional T3, but we actually want the CONVERSION process of T4 into T3 to take place, because it's the presence of those mediator enzymes that will allow the T3 to be synergistic with GH, instead of being inhibitory as is seen when T3 is simply added to a GH cycle. And remember, we don't only want T3 levels high, but we want types 1 and 2 deiodinase to get us there- and when we take supplemental T3, that just doesn't happen...all that happens is the type 3 deiodinase enzyme shows up and negates the beneficial effects of the T3 when we combine it with GH.

If you've been using GH without T4, you've been wasting half your money – and if you've been using it with T3, you've been wasting your time. Start using T4 with your GH, and you'll finally be getting the full results from your investment.

Massage make help your body healthy

Posted by YNFirwall 4:02 PM, under ,, | No comments

Massage can absolutely help you be more fit, but how? Most people believe that massage is just for pampering, but the reality is massage has numerous health benefits and should be part of everyone’s wellness or fitness plan.
Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, and feet. There are over eighty different recognized massage modalities.  The most cited reasons for introducing massage as therapy have been client demand and perceived clinical effectiveness.

In professional settings massage involves the client being treated while lying on a massage table, sitting in a massage chair, or lying on a mat on the floor. The massage subject may be fully or partly unclothed. Parts of the body may be covered with towels or sheets.
But how does massage help you stay fit? How can something that feels so decadent be so good for you? One of the biggest reasons people give for over-eating is stress. Stress also depletes the immune system making it easier for disease to get a foot hold. Massage’s most proven benefit is the reduction of stress. Spending an hour lying comfortably on a table in a dimly lit room while soothing music plays is by itself very relaxing. Add to all that, the skilled hands of a massage therapist deftly manipulating the soft tissue of the body and stress doesn’t stand a chance.

Regular massage (at least twice a month or more) increases body awareness. Body awareness is just what it sounds like, being aware of your body. Most of us walk around oblivious to the body we live in. We don’t pay attention to what we put in it or how we treat it. Getting massage forces us to pay more attention to ourselves. We become more aware of the aches and pains that we ignore. When you do one thing that is good for you it snowballs and you want to do more good things for yourself. Massage encourages to take better care of ourselves.

We all know we need regular exercise to maintain good health, but how many times have you skipped your workout because of muscle pain or because you just don’t have the energy or perhaps because your not feeling well? Massage alleviates those muscle pains that plague us all. How massage soothes those aches and pains is no mystery. Massage increases blood flow to muscles and joints and releases natural pain killers found in the body, called opioids. When pain is decreased, movement is less inhibited, energy levels rise, and there are no more excuses not to keep up with your fitness routine.

Prolonged stress also makes us more susceptible to illness. When we our stressed our bodies go into what is called the fight or flight reflex which causes our bodies to release certain chemicals to increase the heart rate, inhibit digestion, dilate blood vessels in the muscles, among other things. The body reacts to all stress with same response, whether that stress is physical or emotional, real or perceived. When our bodies are busy fighting stress, they are not as diligent about fighting disease and you get sick. Reducing stress, reduces illness.

Still not convinced that massage can make you more fit? Need more proof? Massage can also:
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Increase circulation
  • Alleviate insomnia
  • Improve posture
  • Improve skin condition
  • Foster faster healing of soft tissue after injury
  • Alleviate the discomfort of pregnancy
  • Increase mobility
  •   Improve body image

Easy diet to reach bodybuilding

you can makes diet step by step to reach to your goal by successes . That is the way that I am going to teach you to change your "diet"; small incremental steps that will lead us to a perfect one.
Having said that, we will make incremental changes to your diet every two weeks. Typically, this is how long it takes to create a new habit, as well as this is how long it takes the body to get used to something. Every 14 days we are going to set a new goal. Each goal will build upon the success of the previous one. It is imperative that you use your determination in order to ensure the success of the program. By achieving each goal every two weeks you will end up with the diet that will yield the consistent fat loss/muscle gaining results that you are looking for.
(Weeks 1-2) Cut the fat.
For the first two weeks I just want you to start looking at the labels of the things that you eat and try to start cutting out as many fats as possible. This is the way that you go about doing this:
a) If you fry things, start steaming and broiling.b) If you use salad dressing with a high fat content, start substituting them for low fat or non-fat choices.c) Substitute high fat meats for lower fat choices. For instance if you consume corned beef, substitute it for skinless chicken or turkey. If you consume chicken with the skin, start taking its skin off. Also, buy lean red meats as opposed to the high fat kind. As far as taste, your taste buds will get used to your new low fat eating habits in the two-week period.
(Weeks 3-4) Eliminate refined sugars. These weeks eliminate the refined sugars from your diet. Where are the refined sugars?, you may ask. They are everywhere. Therefore, in order to accomplish this goal I need you to do the following:
a) Eliminate regular sodas as they contain a large amount of sugar in them. Instead, drink diet sodas. However, be warned that these contain Aspartame and some research indicates that high consumption of Aspartame may cause cancer in the long run.b) Eliminate the use of table sugars.c) Eliminate the consumption of any type of sweets.
(Weeks 5-6) Make water the main beverage in your diet. For these weeks, we just want you to start drinking much more water than you have previously consumed before. We have already explained the reasons for consuming water in the Bodybuilding Nutrition Basics article so no need to cover the reasons why again in this one. In order to accomplish this goal we need to do the following:
a) Substitute all types of drinks (including diet sodas and fruit juices, even if they claim to be natural) for water. Therefore, every time you get thirsty, drink water. b) Drink at least an 8-ounce glass with every meal. c) Drink at least 16 ounces of water during the workout.
(Weeks 7-8) Caloric intake control and multiple feedings. The following weeks will be the most challenging, but if the determination is there and you have gotten this far, then you will be able to do it. These weeks you will get closer than you've ever had before to the ideal bodybuilding diet. The good news is that after these two weeks, dieting will not get more complicated and you will also continue to see unbelievable results. In order to accomplish these goals, you'll need to do the following:

Then divide by either 6, 5 or 4 meals to get the amount per meals.
Grams of carbs=(Base caloric intake x .40)/4

Determine Your Fat Intake

Since we want to have 20% or less of the calories coming from Fats, then we need to multiply the base caloric intake by .20 and divide the results by 9 (Since there are 9 calories per each gram of fat).
Then divide by either 6, 5 or 4 meals to get the amount per meals.Grams of fat=(Base caloric intake x .45)/4Then Grams of Fat/5 or 6 = grams of Fat per meal for menGrams of Fat/4 or 5 = grams of Fat per meal for girlsStep :4. Keep a Food Log
